13th annual Hunger Homeless Meal

It’s a cause near and dear to the Back Bay Mission, making sure those in need receive a hearty meal this Thanksgiving.

The Back Bay Mission is extending its helpful hand for the 13th year in a row to those less fortunate. Thanks to the Hard Rock Casino and Resort, locals who attend get the works: mac n cheese, cranberry sauce, desserts, stuffing, and turkey.

Back Bay Mission Executive Director Dr. Alice Graham says they are thankful to the Hard Rock for giving back to its community in this way each year. “They come over and they do everything. They set up the tables, that is decorate the tables, they serve the food. They create this ambiance, this spirit of community that our people just enjoy.”

The Hard Rock started providing a Thanksgiving meal for the homeless and hungry in 2007.

This year the meal will be served in Back Bay Mission’s Micah Day Center located at 1016 Division Street.
