13 Biloxi High School Student-Athletes are taking their talents to the next level
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- Biloxi High School recognized 13 student-athletes as they officially signed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level during a special signing day ceremony.
The event highlighted a wide range of sports, showcasing the dedication and talent across the Indians’ athletic programs.
In volleyball, Adelyn Fontenelle signed with Copiah-Lincoln Community College, while girls basketball standout Na’Kenya Terry committed to Jones College.
On the soccer field, teammates Brody Nguyen and Gavin Humphries will both continue their careers at Holmes Community College.
Golfer Clayton Askin signed with Pearl River Community College, and dancer Brooklyn Gines will take her talents to University of Southern Mississippi.
Biloxi’s boys basketball program saw multiple signees, with Kentrelle Beasley heading to East Mississippi Community College, Carnellous Leonard signing with Meridian Community College, and Jakylen Edwards committing to Pearl River Community College.
In bowling, Jacob Than signed with University of Mobile. Annalise Finney, who competes in figure and synchronized skating, will continue at Adrian College.
Rounding out the group, flag football athlete Madyson Barnwell signed with Spring Hill College, while girls basketball player Taylor Hannah committed to Spoon River College.
Coaches, family members, and classmates were on hand to support the signees as they prepare to take the next step in their athletic journeys.
