12/14 Ryan’s “Subtle Front” Thursday Forecast
While today continued to warm a cold front is moving in, but due to its lack of active weather or drastic changes, “subtle” front may be a better term to use. This front will do little to change our current weather pattern as temperatures will remain in the mid 40s tonight, but will drop slightly as we head into tomorrow. No rain is expected, but our overcast skies will remain intact for the rest of the night before beginning to clear some tomorrow. Expect an afternoon in the mid 50s for Friday, climbing into the upper 50s by Saturday, and skyrocketing into the low 70s by Sunday. This is when the next frontal system moves in, first from the South, then another from the Northwest. This last boundary will stall over the area, bringing keeping significant rain chances and cloud cover in place until after Tuesday. The skies will clear at this time, but remain on the warmer side of things in the mid 60s and increasing towards the weekend.
