12/29 – Jeff’s “Cool & Sunny” New Year’s Weekend Forecast

It will be cold again overnight with freeze conditions likely north of the interstate, and frost likely for everyone. Saturday will bring sunny skies and high temperatures in the 50s. Sunday morning will be cold but freezing temperatures are likely off the table and the final day of 2023 will be pleasant. Temperatures will max out in the 60s on New Year’s Eve day and other than it being cool with increasing clouds, events on New Years Eve will go off without a hitch.

Rain will be likely on New Years Day with a round of rainfall expected from mid-morning through the afternoon. The first week of 2024 will bring a rapidly evolving pattern with quick moving frontal systems. Rain chances will be around for the middle of the week and another potent system could bring rainfall next weekend. Temperatures will remain cool-to-cold as compared to seasonal averages.
