12/26 – Jeff Vorick’s “Cooler & Breezy” Tuesday Morning Forecast

Cloud cover has moved back in with upper-level clouds streaming in. Temperatures are a few degrees cooler out the door this morning and winds have shifted to out of the north-to-northwest. Breezy conditions will gradually relax through the day and some breaks in the clouds are possible during the mid-morning timeframe.

Tonight will be another notch colder with upper-30s – lower-40s to start Wednesday. More sunshine will be around at times during the day tomorrow but overall, there won’t be too many changes. A reinforcing shot of colder air in the form of a cold front arrives by the nighttime hours tomorrow into Thursday.

A cold stretch will take over the regional weather pattern for the end of the week into the weekend. Morning low temperatures and afternoon high temperatures will be ten or so degrees below average. Several mornings could be below the freezing mark so be sure to take necessary precautions with sensitive plants, animals, and home heating.
