12/24 – Jeff’s “Rain/Tracking Santa” Christmas Forecast
Rain will persist through a lot of the overnight hours tonight with an area of low pressure moving through the region. Winds will also be elevated through around midnight. Some isolated rain cells could provide for strong wind gusts at times. Be mindful of isolated pockets of street flooding in the area overnight into early Christmas Day.
The cold front will swing through the area tomorrow afternoon bringing with it some clearing. Christmas Day will bring drier conditions through a lot of the day along with pleasant temperatures. Through the week, skies will gradually get clearer despite mid-level and upper-level clouds streaming through the region. Temperatures will trend colder for the second half of the week with below-average readings.
