12/11 – Jeff’s “Clear & Cold” Monday Evening Forecast
Below seasonal average temperatures will repeat tonight with mainly clear skies expected. Winds will also back down which will promote very efficient cooling overnight. Some thin upper-level clouds may totally prevent temperatures from bottoming out but it will still be quite cold to start your Tuesday.
Thin clouds will become more of a factor tomorrow which will help keep temperatures cool. Winds will also elevate, especially over the water. Expect breezy and cool conditions with increasing cloud coverage through much of this week.
Towards the end of the week, an area of low pressure will be forming in the Gulf of Mexico. The exact track of the feature needs to be ironed out. The most certainty lies in the continuing trend of increasing cloud cover and wind through the week, with rain chances in the extended forecast.
