12/04 — Brantly’s “Mostly Sunny” Wednesday Afternoon Forecast

Skies are mostly clear across the Gulf Coast this afternoon. While some upper levels clouds may pass by, there will still be plenty of sunshine through the remainder of the day.

Temperatures are about ten degrees warmer than they were yesterday. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 60s in South Mississippi and overnight lows will be chilly in the lower 40s.

On Thursday, moisture will increase as flow off the Gulf of Mexico brings in warm, damp air. Clouds will start to filter into the region, but rain chances will remain low to none.

Ahead of another cold front, showers and a few thunderstorms are expected on Friday. Most models are indicating the bulk of the rainfall will occur in the afternoon, but we will continue to monitor these trends and fine-tune the timing as the system approaches.
