11/18 – Rob’s “Midday News” Weekend Forecast

The WARM/HUMID air will linger through this afternoon before a cold front affects teh area overnight. Isolated/scattered showers and a few t-storms will move across south Mississippi prior to sunrise tomorrow. STRONG COLD AIR will begin moving in behind the front will bring increasing winds before sunrise…and continue through Saturday evening before tapering-off. Temps on Saturday will feel a good 8-10 degrees cooler with winds gusting in excess of 20 mph. The COLDEST of the air will advect into the area overnight into Sunday and Monday mornings as the mercury will drop into the upper 30s just north of the beach…mid 30s north of the interstate and inland. The air mass will rapidly modify early next week with Thanksgiving bringing mild and sunny conditions.
