Freeze Warning for Stone, George, and Pearl River counties also, portions of Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson counties. Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 expected for inland areas in south MS. some precautions to take are check on the elderly, have plants/ vegetation sensitive to cold indoors or covered , and keep the pets inside. the stretch of cool weather looks to stay through the weekend and the first half of next week with highs in the upper 50s low 60s and morning lows in the upper 30s.
