11/29 – Brittany’s “Quiet For Now” Tuesday Night Forecast

We’ve managed to remain relatively quiet thus for for our evening but that will be subject to change as we’ll see an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms in the area for our overnight hours, in advance of an approaching cold front. We’ll see the potential for widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms. We’ll also be under a SLIGHT threat for severe weather, which is a level 2 out of 5. The greatest threats we could see tonight are strong to severe wind gusts, isolated tornadic activity, large hail, and heavy rainfall which could lead to flash flooding.

For the extended, we’ll be dry behind tonight’s system and then a ridge will try to build north out of the Gulf this weekend and dominate the region into next week.
