11/15 – Jeff’s “Windy and Cold” Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

Rain has ended across South Mississippi. Some areas picked up over 2 inches of rain last night! Mostly cloudy skies and gusty winds will remain through the afternoon. There will be breaks in the clouds overnight. Temperatures will drop to the upper 30s inland, and the low 40s along the coast. Winds will make temperatures feel like 35 degrees tomorrow morning.

Clouds remain over the next few days. Wednesday will feature mostly cloudy skies and high temperatures only managing the 50s. Gusty winds will continue to be in place for the area through much of the day. The gusty winds will begin to subside Wednesday into Thursday.

A disturbance will move east from Texas on Thursday. Rain chances of around 20% are expected. The bulk of the rain will be to the south of our area. Once the feature moves through the area, clouds will begin to clear into Friday. Friday will only feature a few clouds. Another system bears watching this weekend with rain chances of around 20% Saturday.
