11/14 – Rob’s “Scattered Showers” Thursday Morning Forecast

It is far warmer than it was just 24 hours ago, but still below normal for this time of the year. This trend will continue to be the case through the upcoming weekend.

An area of low-pressure off the east Texas coast will continue to move northeast across the Gulf of Mexico. Scattered rain will continue affect south Mississippi through this evening. Much of the activity will be very light with the best chance for measurable rain late this afternoon into this evening.

Tonight will bring rain early evening with drier air moving in after midnight and clearing skies. Lows may drop to the upper 30s or lower 40s once again.

This weekend will remain dry with temperatures remaining below normal but temps will moderate a little with highs by Sunday in the lower to mid 60s.

Overall, the forecast looks fairly quiet going into next week.
