11/12 Ryan’s “Another Damp Start” Tuesday Morning Forecast

We're off to another grey, damp start today, with even more rain expected tomorrow before things dry up.

We’re off to another damp start today, though unlike yesterday we won’t see the sun peaking through this afternoon. I expected we’d see some clearing yesterday as we hit an expected dry pocket, but at an unexpected time. The sun broke through in the late morning, allowing us to warm into the 80s, and even hit yesterday’s record of 85 in Gulfport! That’s today’s temperature record as well, but we’ll stay well south of it thanks to much more consistent cloud cover and no sun peaking through. Light showers kept things cooler this morning as well as the low fell to 68° in Gulfport, another slight drop from the day before. We’ll stay around that area for tomorrow morning as well, with this afternoon staying on the “cooler” side only climbing to around 75° today…but expect a slight warm up from this afternoon to tomorrow. That’s due to an incoming front that’ll increase rain chances, but also finally bring some noticeably cooler weather for the rest of the week.

Tropics: we’re still watching that area in the West Caribbean, but no South MS impact is likely.
