11/11 – Sam Parker’s “Nitty-Gritty” Monday Midday Forecast

The thicker cloud cover and rain did cool things down yesterday and for this morning, dropping lows to the upper 60s and low 70s, cooler than last week but still considerably above normal. Highs will only climb into the upper 70s thanks to the early rain, but we are seeing some 80s as the cloud cover has broken through some of the area. Showers will be all wrapped up for now, with cloudy skies slowly giving way into the night. That’ll give us slightly less grey skies Tuesday, but rain returns Wednesday ahead of an actual frontal passage Thursday morning. Tropics: The Central American Gyre continues to generate potential areas of development this season, with a moderate 40% area we’ll be watching all week in the Caribbean.
