11/05 – Rob’s “Pleasant” Tuesday Morning Forecast

The old frontal boundary stalled just to the east of the area will remain there while weakening over the next few days. Return flow ahead of the next strong cold front will start Thursday and will only last for a short time before the front makes its way through the area Thursday evening.

The cold front will bring showers and thunder storms to the region from the northwest Thursday afternoon into Thursday night. The rain activity will taper off heading towards midnight but lingering clouds and moisture will bring spotty light rain to the area Friday morning.

Skies will begin to clear late in the day Friday with a very cold air mass providing for way below seasonal temperatures once again and gusting winds into the 20 mph range. Daytime high temperatures will struggle to make it into the 60s this weekend, but warmer temperatures will move back in on Veterans Day.
