11/04 – Brantly’s “Chilly” Thursday Morning Forecast

Mostly cloudy skies are expected today, although a few glimpses of sun not are out of the question. We can’t rule out a few sprinkles either, especially over lower portions of the coastal counties today, but it’s going to be tough to squeeze out 0.01 inch in most locations. Right now, rain chances are just at 20 to 30 percent. We probably won’t see much of a decrease in cloud cover until we get close to sunrise on Friday. Friday and Saturday look to be dry across the area.

Clouds will hold temperatures well below normal today, with most areas not getting much past the mid-60s. There will not be much change in the highs for Friday and Saturday, but with more sunshine and lower humidity, it will likely feel more comfortable. Highs on Friday are expected to remain in the 60s, while highs for Saturday will be a few degrees warmer.

High temperatures will be cool Sunday afternoon, in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees. We are expecting highs to be a touch warmer through midweek, with values in the lower to mid 70s. Lows will follow a similar warming trend, beginning in the 40s inland to around 50 degrees at the immediate coast Sunday night. By Tuesday night, lows inland will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s with mid to upper 50s at the coast.
