10/9 – Rob Knight’s Friday Morning HURRICANE DELTA Update

Hurricane Delta is a MAJOR HURRICANE as a CAT3 with winds of 120 mph.

The current movement is north at 12 mph…with landfall expected around sunset this evening just to the east of Cameron Louisiana.

Low end Tropical Storm conditions for our area will remain through early Saturday

and slowly improve through the remainder of the day Saturday. Delta is expected to weaken to a tropical storm by late Saturday as it moves through northeast LA.
