10/30 – Rob Knight’s “DST Ends” Weekend Forecast
Sunny skies are expected through this afternoon with cool temperatures and breezy conditions relaxing. Lows will drop into the lower to middle 40s across inland areas with only areas south of the interstate in the upper 40s. Clear skies will remain in place through Saturday night as temperatures begin to slowly modify.
A reinforcing frontal passage will occur on Sunday, providing for a few passing clouds,
but the bigGest impact will be surge of much colder air into the area from the northern Plains states.
In advance of the front on Sunday, temperatures should warm back into the lower 70s, but temperatures will plunge into the 40s for most locations Sunday night as the colder airmass advects in from the north. Breezy conditions are expected near water sources and the beach with of 15 to 20 mph expected through the night. The brunt of the cold air will be felt Monday night.
