10/25 – Brittany’s “Cool & Clear” Tuesday Night Forecast

The front is now east of the area and skies are clear. Dry weather is on-tap for tonight and Wednesday with cooler temperatures. Wednesday night and Thursday should be fairly quiet, with brief high pressure moving across the area. This will provide for calmer winds and sunny skies. Colder overnight temperatures will continue through Thursday morning before beginning to rebound.

As high pressure moves to the east Thursday night, moisture will initially be limited with low level winds not turning onshore until during the Friday. There looks to be about an 18 hour period beginning Friday for the best opportunities for showers/storms. An approaching system well to the north will bring another cold front trough the region. This system will likely be the best opportunity we’ve had for significant precipitation in the last 6 weeks or so.
