10/18 – Jeff’s “End of Week Changes” Wednesday Night Forecast
Clear skies and cool, but milder conditions will be present much of tonight. Some clouds move in towards daybreak but other than that, expect a pleasant start to your Thursday. Clouds will be around more so tomorrow with an average of partly cloudy skies in play. Rain chances do make their way into the near-term outlook too.
A storm system will be in our region for the end of the week. Expect 20% rain chances at best tomorrow afternoon into the evening. Other than that, a drier airmass makes its way into South Mississippi Friday into the weekend. Friday will feature clearing skies and sunshine by the afternoon.
Saturday will have plenty of sunshine around until the afternoon hours. The front will look to stall in our region. That combined with moisture streaming in from the west/southwest will lead to more clouds, especially Sunday. High pressure will then dominate into next week which will lead to a warmer pattern in the extended. Above average temperatures can be expected Monday and beyond.
