10/13 – Rob’s “Nice Changes Ahead” Afternoon Forecast

Southerly return flow around high-pressure to the east will keep us in the same weather pattern we have been in for the past week with mainly dry conditions and slightly above normal temperatures. The high-pressure will start to retreat to the south and east on Friday as a cold front approaches the Midwest and Lower MS Valley from the west. The cold front is expected to pass through our region Friday night. Radiational fog is likely to form once again in the typical fog-prone areas away from the coast/lake.

With the cold front passing through Friday night into Saturday morning, conditions become cooler behind it. Conditions will quickly dry behind the front. We develop quite a spread on our max and min temps. The second day following the cold front as this is normally the coldest day following a frontal passage, which will be Sunday.
