10/13 – Rob Knight’s Tuesday Mid-Morning Forecast

A dry front is now east of the area, this will bring a drier air mass to south Mississippi with a brief warm up Thursday. By tonight and into early Wednesday, weak surface high-pressure will settle in. Not much changes in timing of the next frontal passage Thursday night. Front should go through the area dry.

The dry weather is expected to continue through the weekend as morning low temperatures Saturday and Sunday will bottom out in the upper 40s inland to the low 50s along the beach. Another front will likely move across the area next Monday or Tuesday. This system also looks to be moisture deficient, and won’t carry much more than about 20% precip chances for Monday and Tuesday afternoons next week.
