10/12 – Brantly’s “Warm and Humid” Monday Morning Forecast

After a foggy start to the day for some, expect things to be warm, humid, and mostly sunny across the Gulf Coast.

High temperatures should top out in the mid to upper 80s this afternoon, which is about 5-8 degrees above normal for this time of the year. High pressure dominates the region for now, giving us mostly calm conditions and lots of sunshine.

A cold front pushes across the region Tuesday, but it will be a mostly dry cold front with little to no rain ahead of the frontal boundary. Expect the sunny skies to continue with the exception of a few clouds.

High temperatures Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will only be slightly cooler in the lower to mid 80s, but overnight lows will drop to the 50s for most. Humidity will be much lower.

Thursday, a second, stronger cold front moves through the Gulf Coast region. This cold front will bring significantly cooler air to the region. Friday and Saturday, highs will only be in the lower 70s with overnight lows in the lower 50s to upper 40s.
