10/01 Ryan’s “October First” Monday Night Forecast

It’s the first day of October, but it doesn’t feel very “fall-like” yet. It’s still hot and humid, and areas today still “felt like” 95-100 degrees despite the rainfall. Showers were few and far between today as the sea breeze set up, but it’s about to get much drier.

EXPECT THE CLOUD COVER AND RAIN WE’VE BEEN PLAGUED WITH FOR THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS TO FINALLY DISSIPATE AS HIGH PRESSURE AND SLIGHTLY DRIER AIR MOVES IN.

The additional sunshine will keep it a little warmer than average with highs lingering in the mid-to-upper 80s. Skies will remain mostly sunny at worst, but a few more clouds will move in around the weekend. Overall this week will be dry, sunny, and hotter; but those fall conditions are right around the corner.
