1/29 – Jeff Vorick’s “Dense Fog Advisory” Sunday Night Forecast

Showers coverage has diminished throughout the evening. With light southerly flow and a moist airmass, sea fog will settle in especially along and south of Interstate 10. There is a 20% chance of a passing shower overnight. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 AM Monday morning. Once fog dissipates, cloudy skies will linger. There is a 30% chance of widely scattered showers and thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon.

Fog can be expected again Monday night into Tuesday morning. Rain chances will be slimmer Tuesday because the boundary responsible for the recent rain will slide south. Some breaks in the clouds will allow for a warmer, drier day Tuesday. A brief lull in the pattern will happen Tuesday into Wednesday.

Another frontal system will make its way east. The warm front will be moving into our area Wednesday. Expect cloudy skies, increasing moisture, and a 20% chance of showers. The cold front is expected to slide towards our area Thursday. There is the potential for showers and thunderstorms on Thursday with its passage.
