09/17 Ryan’s “Mild & Misty” Tuesday Morning Forecast
Expect a few more misty areas this morning as temperatures hold steady but things got a little more humid.
We’ve had some noticeable misty areas over the last few mornings, but today’s are much more so and a little more widespread as well. There aren’t any Dense Fog Advisories in the area, but it wouldn’t surprise me if you encountered an area or two where visibility fell to a quarter mile or less, especially just off the coast. As of now (~8 AM), it’s already beginning to lift so it won’t be an issue for your morning commute much longer.
By the afternoon it’ll all depend on where those showers set up as to what kind of a day you’ll have. Many areas won’t see significant rain, but there will be more out there on par with yesterday’s coverage and timing. While severe weather and significant flooding aren’t expected, it’s always good to remain “weather aware” if you hear any thunder overhead. The grey skies and showers will keep things on the cooler side of “normal” across the areas with highs expected near 85 on the coastline and only slightly higher inland with humid-to-muggy conditions. Thankfully the air will dry out some as we head through the rest of the week, but that will be more in the way of fewer clouds than noticeably lower humidity.
