09/08 Ryan’s “Morning Clouds, Afternoon Sun” Monday Morning Forecast

Starting off the day and the week with a few morning clouds, but the afternoon will sunny and bright.

We’re starting the week off on the dry side with just a few morning clouds and ample afternoon sun, but rain moves in quickly for a short time. Expect nothing but sun through the afternoon today, but light cloud cover begins showing up later tonight. A broad low is moving into the area from the east, and it could bring a sprinkle or two as early as tonight…though we’ll have to wait for Tuesday afternoon for more consistent rain. That’ll come in the form of a few showers and an isolated thunderstorm in the heat of the afternoon tomorrow, then begin to clear quickly into the night. By Wednesday morning we’ll see a few lingering clouds, which will clear out themselves by the end of the day leading to a sunny and dry end of the week and weekend ahead.

The tropics are oddly quiet still. No active storms or areas of potential development at this time.
