08/04 – Steve’s Steamy Midday Forecast
After a rather humid start to the day, it appears that more of the usual afternoon and evening thunderstorms are in your weather future here on the Coast.
Of note: now-Tropical Storm Earl is located inland west of Belize, approaching Mexico. There, rainfall has the potential to create landslides and other hazards. Up to 20 inches of rain in places!
There’s also a Head Advisory in effect for the area through 7:00pm. PLEASE … make certain to drink plenty of water, and take regular breaks if you’re confined to working outdoors today! More of this sort of scenario can be expected through the upcoming weekend, too.
Daytime high temps will be in the low and mid 90s and overnight lows in the mid 70s. Rain chances are about 50% each day through the next seven days.
