08/28 Ryan’s “Noticeably Drier” Friday Forecast
Today will be noticeably drier than Thursday was, but will still see at least a few afternoon showers.
Thursday was our wettest day of the week, so today will be noticeably drier despite seeing a little more shower and thunderstorm activity this afternoon. Even that isn’t looking as significant as other days this week which had upwards of a level two risk of severe weather as today will likely just see a few sub-severe thunderstorms. It will warm up a few degrees though, climbing out of the 80s where we spent yesterday and back into the low 90s, but just barely with an expected high near 91°. Even the heat index will barely reach the low 100s, making today another of our “cooler” recent summer days. Expect little change from this pattern for the weekend too as highs stay in the low 90s with a chance of afternoon showers every day.
