08/27 Ryan’s “After Laura” Thursday Night Forecast

Unfortunately, our “after Laura” weather will be just as wet as as our “during Laura” weather. As Laura moves away it is pulling a slow-moving rain band through, so things will get more rainy as the night goes on. By sunrise, expect cloudy skies and a 70% chance of showers as the bulk of the band passes by, with a low near 79. Tomorrow afternoon will be on the cooler side with a high near 86 due to the thick cloud cover and rain.

THIS RAIN WILL START TO TAPER OFF AS WE HEAD INTO THE NIGHT, A TREND THAT’LL CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

Rain chances will be down to 40% by Sunday, and will continue falling through the middle of the week. By Wednesday expect fewer clouds, more sun, and only slight chances of afternoon showers. The drier weather lingers through the end of next week, but we’re also watching a few new tropical disturbances in the Atlantic.
