08/11 Ryan’s “More Showers” Monday Morning Forecast
As usual there were at least a few showers over the weekend, but we can expect more to start off this week.
We had a nice weekend with just a few afternoon showers darkening our sunny skies, but we’ll see more of them as we start off this week. Still not expecting a rain-from-start-to-finish washout, but a broad low is approaching from the south that’ll enhance our daytime activity noticeably. Rainfall will be heaviest along the coast, with estimates as high as 2″ which could lead to some small-scale flooding issues if they linger. Expect the showers to develop in the late morning/early afternoon and linger into the evening/overnight hours…especially along the coast/over the Sound. Tomorrow will see similar, if not slightly higher, numbers before we start to trend down for the rest of the week.
