07/26 Ryan’s “Familiar Pattern” Friday Forecast

I hope you enjoyed the last couple of drier, sunny days because our familiar pattern of hot, humid afternoons with a little rain is moving back in. We’ve already seen the humidity climb about 10% from where it was yesterday.

Our highs have remained in the upper 80s and low 90s, but the heat index hasn’t been significantly higher due to the drier air.

Now that is changing, so heat indices in excess of 95 degrees will become the norm again. I guess the silver lining would be I expect it to be a little drier now. The front we’d been seeing moving back into the area from the Gulf is now expected to dissipate more quickly, so rain chances have fallen around 10% from where they were yesterday. Basically, you can expect more of what we’ve seen recently but with higher heat indices for the week ahead.
