07/23 Ryan’s “Wet & Humid” Thursday Night Forecast

Wet & humid weather this afternoon as gusting winds and frequent showers moved through South Mississippi. This is all due to the Tropical Depression in the Gulf, which will keep these conditions in place for now. Expect tonight to be on the cloudy side with a 40% chance of scattered showers. Winds will weaken some, but will remain generally easterly at 10 mph. All the rain cooled air will lead to a slightly cooler low near 76, but little else changes.

TOMORROW WON’T CHANGE MUCH FROM TODAY EITHER, SO EXPECT ANOTHER CLOUDY, GREY DAY WITH AN INCREASE IN SHOWERS DURING PEAK HEATING HOURS.

We’ll enjoy a cooler high near 86, with a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Severe weather isn’t expected, but days of rain could lead to flooding issues as we start next week. That’s especially true because it isn’t likely we’ll see much of a break in the rain (under a 60% chance) until next Thursday.
