07/15 Ryan’s “Quite Hot” Tuesday Forecast
We're in for another "drier" summer afternoon out there, leading to some particularly hot weather for South Mississippi.
Expect it to be quite hot out there today thanks to sunny skies and drier weather, but we’ll still see at least a couple of showers today with more on the way. I have today’s chances at 20%, meaning there’s a very low chance of encountering any of the few showers I expect we’ll see out there. That goes up to around 40-50% by tomorrow, and skyrockets to greater than 70% by the end of the week as tropical moisture moves in from the east. This moisture may come together enough to earn a name, which would be “Dexter,” but it depends on how far out over the water the low decides to linger. Either way, it doesn’t look like it’ll become a significant tropical system, but may bring flooding issues to South MS over the weekend.
