07/09 Ryan’s “Drier” Thursday Morning Forecast
Expect another drier South MS summer day today, though even then we can't shake shower chances completely.
Today will end up being a drier day like Wednesday was, where it wouldn’t surprise me to see no activity whatsoever, but it’s still possible. Otherwise not much is changing from what we’ve seen many days recently as our hot and humid afternoon will see heat indices just under heat advisory levels (~105°). A couple of showers aren’t out of the question, but compared to how we started off the week we’ll still be on the drier side even if they do form. Rain chances won’t stay “drier” for long, with “normal” amounts of afternoon showers returning as early as Friday and downright rainy days expected over the weekend. A front will settle in over the coastline as we begin next week, which will lead to a few grey, wet days in a row before they start to fall again.
