07/01 Ryan’s “Muggy” Monday Night Forecast

We enjoyed more sunny and hot weather today, but the humidity is keeping muggy conditions in play. This isn’t expected to change any time soon either. The humidity will largely stay about the same, but temperatures climb a few more degrees into the mid-to-upper 90s.

THIS MEANS HEAT INDEX VALUES COULD RISE AS MUCH AS 10 DEGREES DUE TO AN AIR TEMPERATURE INCREASE OF A FEW DEGREES.

This doesn’t quite put us into “extreme” danger of heat related illnesses, but we’re inching closer and closer. Thankfully, we’ll never be too far away from a few cooling showers.

AS EACH AFTERNOON ROLLS AROUND, DAYTIME HEATING WILL LEAD TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF RAIN.

Generally only showers are expected, but thunderstorms are certainly possible and even isolated pockets of severe weather can’t be ruled out.
