06/09 Ryan’s “Rainy Week” Monday Morning Forecast

Get ready for a rainy week ahead as fronts creep into the area and get stuck for the next few days.

Expect a rainy week ahead, which will back our afternoon temperatures down a couple of degrees, but won’t do much about the humidity. Today will still be on the “summery” side, with highs slightly above average at 90 and dewpoints in the mid 70s. I expect to see a slight decrease in both of these through the first half of the week, ahead of a surge of more humid air by the end. Rain chances will slowly climb throughout the week, right now peaking on Thursday, but it will ultimately come down to where the stalled front decides to linger…which may shift the timing/intensity around a bit.
