05/29 Ryan’s “Slightly Drier” Friday Morning Forecast
We've reached the end of the week and it's looking at least slightly drier as we head into the afternoon.
The end of a very wet week is finally here and the good news is it looks like we’ll see some slightly drier weather to enjoy. Notice I didn’t say “dry,” as there will undoubtedly be more rain across the area today…just expecting less of it. For comparison, we started off the week with expected rainfall values near 2″ for every South MS city while today’s will more likely max out between a quarter to a tenth of an inch. That’ll certainly help with our lingering flooding issues, but remember to continue exercising caution nearby them through the weekend…particularly the Pearl, Wolf, Biloxi and Pascagoula rivers along with Hobolochitto Creek.
For today, expect it to be a little less cloudy than it has been, with still a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. The chance of rain dries up through the night, but we’ll continue to see at least a 30-40% chance into next week before things start to finally clear up.
