04/06 – Brantly’s “Mild and Muggy” Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

The high pressure that has been sitting over the Gulf Coast region for the last few days has begun to shift to the east, now being stretched from the northeastern Gulf over the southwestern Atlantic and as far north as the Carolinas. A few showers may manage to develop over interior portions of South Mississippi Tuesday afternoon in response, but much of the deep layer Gulf moisture is expected to be further west. Therefore, mainly dry conditions are expected through Tuesday night.

We have a decent chance of seeing fog develop across the Coast tonight especially in any areas that see rain today. Conditions will again turn more unsettled for Wednesday and Wednesday night. Highs today and Wednesday range from the mid 70s at the coast to the upper 70s and lower 80s inland. Lows tonight then range from the mid 50s inland to the lower 60s along the Coast.
