03/26 Ryan’s “Getting Cloudy” Sunday Night Forecast

It’ll be getting cloudy tonight after an afternoon that saw moderate cloud cover come and go pretty quickly. The increased cloud cover will lead to a warmer evening low, near 67, and it’s likely that we’ll see some patchy fog during the early morning hours (3-7 AM). Winds remain light and from the South, and while it isn’t going to be enough to prevent fog formation, it will keep it lighter in many locations though it can be locally dense.

Tomorrow (Monday) afternoon will be mostly cloudy, and carry a 30% chance of showers. This storm does have an “enhanced” severe threat now as its moving through OK/TX, but will pull more towards the North tomorrow and will miss South Mississippi with its strongest storms. This means we won’t cool down afterwards, so expect a gradual warm-up into the low 80s through Tuesday and Wednesday. Another frontal system is primed to move through the area by Thursday, so more showers and t-storms are expected. There is still some “discrepancy” on what exactly this system will do as it moves in, so some “tweaks” to this particular system will be necessary over the next day or so.
