03/23 Ryan’s “Windy & Humid” Thursday Forecast
This afternoon brought some slightly cooler temperatures, but cloud cover as well as windy & humid conditions are on the rise. The nearly overcast skies will continue into tomorrow afternoon, which will be warm, but still cooler than the last few days due to the increase in cloud cover. The gradual cooling continues into Saturday, where the frontal system will finally begin moving into the area, bringing showers, thunderstorms, and a “slight” threat of severe weather. I expect the severe threat to lessen over the next day or so, but we’ll continue to monitor the situation and issue any forecast updates.
Now that Spring has arrived, expect to see much more “active” weather patterns. After this Saturday’s system, we’ll see another, weaker one move quickly through the area on Monday. Afterwards, the next few days seem dry, but afternoon thunderstorms will be possible.
