03/30 Ryan’s “Rain Creeps In” Monday Morning Forecast

Last week saw a few fronts but remained dry, though now rain creeps in slowly throughout the week.

We had two fronts last week, which moved through with only a wind shift and subtle cooling, but now the rain creeps back in. Don’t expect much at first, hence the word “creeps,” but we already saw a few sprinkles Sunday and will see a few more today. Despite that, we’ll still manage to climb slightly above normal with a high of 76°and southwesterly winds near between 10-15 mph. Anything heavier than a few sprinkles will most likely develop just to the west in Southeastern Louisiana, but at least a few will drift over South Mississippi in the heat of the day. That pattern persists through the end of the week, when the front finally creeps close enough for some slightly more consistent rain ahead of the weekend.
