03/27 Ryan’s “Clouds Move In” Thursday Afternoon Forecast

Clouds started creeping in yesterday, but now they're moving in quickly with no chance of leaving anytime soon.

Thin, upper level could cover started to inch in yesterday, but thickened overnight as more and more move in with no intention of leaving anytime soon. In fact, it’ll nearly be over a full week before we see a significant portion of a day without at least partly cloudy (50% clouds) skies as a grey, warmer, and more humid pattern develops. Today they won’t lead to anything more than washed out sunlight for the afternoon, but rain begins showing up as early as tomorrow. It doesn’t look very significant, but expect at least isolated showers with a stray thunderstorm mixed in through the evening. Saturday’s rain chances are slightly more robust, but even then thunderstorms will be few and far between. It looks like Sunday may have a chance at a few stronger ones, but after that things start to slowly dry up by Monday afternoon. That’ll leave Tuesday the clearest and driest day of the week, but even then we’ll still be warmer and more humid than our seasonal normal.
