03/25 – Rob Knight’s “Warm” Wednesday Morning Forecast

A cold front located over northern Mississippi is moving very slowly southeast and away from the area this morning.

Some model guidance hints at some of the well-modified air behind it possibly leaking into the northern half of the area for some areas but no real cool down expected. However, cloud cover could be enough to keep things a degree cooler today unless you are under the sunny areas.

Hot conditions expected through Saturday before a cold front moves through Saturday night bringing temps down a bit. Guidance on this cool down is swinging hard for higher temps than it was the previous several runs. But this is now in the 4 and 5 day window, where models normally handle things less than desirable. As this gets a bit closer in time, things could change again and likely will.

This front is expected to stall along the coast or just offshore while a surface low develops back in Texas, bringing it back as a warm front early next week.
