03/23 Ryan’s “Misty & Mild” Monday Morning Forecast

We saw a mild and misty morning across South Mississippi, with sunshine ahead as we start off the week.

We started off the first full week of spring with mild and misty weather, leading to a few potential areas of light, patchy fog. It struggled to come together with our light winds, and won’t now things are warming up quickly under sunny skies. We’ll see some light cloud cover begin to move in later today, leading to mostly sunny skies (~25% cloud cover) and a warmer-than-normal high near 81° in Gulfport. Coastal locations will fall in line with this number, while inland counties and cities will likely warm as high as the mid 80s. The cloud cover will increase noticeably tonight as a weak front moves in, allowing for a couple degrees of warming despite the cold front as our overnight low lingers near 60°. We’ll see some slightly cooler afternoons through the middle of the week, falling as low as 76 Wednesday.
