03/13 Ryan’s “Coldest” Friday Morning Forecast

This morning saw our coldest morning in weeks as lows dropped into the upper 30s and low 40s across the area.

This morning was a good reminder it is still winter as lows fell into the 30s bringing our coldest weather in weeks. This is the coldest it’ll get though ahead of a sharp warming period that’ll have us back in “springtime” territory by the weekend. That’s due to a couple of fronts moving in, the first just missing us later on tonight and the second arriving late Sunday. That’ll take temperatures from the upper 60s today, to nearly 80 by Sunday afternoon before the front moves through, bringing early morning rain and even colder weather than we’re seeing now to begin next week. In fact, we’ll be just a few degrees above freezing just a couple of days before the start of spring.
