03/10 Ryan’s “Foggy” Sunday Night Forecast

Get ready for another foggy night in South Mississippi with Dense Fog advisories already being issued. A frontal boundary has stalled overhead and is keeping moisture trapped in the area.

This front doesn’t go far over the next few days, and will surge back through the area as our next weather maker moves in.

This will happen by Thursday night and thunderstorms are expected, but it’s too early to anticipate severe weather. This front will penetrate much further than the last one did and will bring our first significant airmass change in over a week. Temperatures won’t fall below freezing with this one, but a few chilly nights in the 40s are expected as we head into the weekend. The days will be much more manageable though, so expect plenty of sunshine and mild afternoons in the mid 60s.
