03/07 – Brantly’s “Cool and Calm” Sunday Night Forecast

High pressure shifts eastward Monday, with surface winds turning more southeasterly, and resulting in gradual warming and moistening trend through Tuesday. While lows on Tuesday will still be near or slightly below normal, expect afternoon highs to be about 5 degrees above normal.

The warming trend continues through midweek as upper ridging establishes itself over the southeastern US. By Wednesday, afternoon temperatures will be well above normal. By late in the week both morning lows and afternoon highs will be about 10 degrees above normal. Thursday looks to be the warmest day, with afternoon highs topping out around or just over 80 degrees most places.
