02/21 Ryan’s “Upper Level Low” Tuesday Night Forecast

Yesterday’s storms may have moved East, but an upper level low will be bringing clouds and the chance of showers back to the Coast tonight. This low pressure system will create a bit of cloud cover and some moderate instability as it moves across the area overnight, but we’ll begin to see the skies clearing as early as tomorrow afternoon as the low continues to head SE. The weather will remain mostly sunny and pleasantly warm with temperatures in the low 70s as we approach the weekend. The next round of “active” weather will come Friday night as another cold front will push through the area, though this system will have a much lower moisture content than yesterday’s did, so very few showers are expected, if any. This will bring the temperatures down about 10 degrees, ushering in a clear and dry weekend with temps in the mid-to-upper 60s. Southerly wind returns as early as Monday though, with scattered showers possible on Tuesday.
